INJECT-STYRENE TECHNOLOGY
Insulation products
It’s important to include the type of insulation in our insulating products. It’s made from polystyrene microbeads and a water-based acrylic binder. The agglomerate sets and dries in a few days.
Surpassing the requirements of quality standard CAN/ULC S701.01.2017 (including modifications), our insulation products are made from rigid polystyrene, factory-fabricated in board form.
Insulation products
Ecobill MD/® – 50% recycled
The most popular
One of our most popular and unique products, with its superior insulating value, it is an insulating material derived from an injection process of graphitized polystyrene microbeads used to fill air gaps. In addition to its high thermal value, injected microbead insulation provides excellent control over air movement.

POLYSTYRENE RECOVERY
Exemplary quality
The insulation is a blend of polystyrene microbeads (EPS) containing 25-50% premium quality recycled material. This quality is ensured by anECO-CAPTATION which consists of recovering post-consumer EPS by positive sorting through an extensive network of production and consumption waste recovery facilities. Our raw materials are recovered directly at source from the waste generator, enabling us to recover top-quality, uncontaminated EPS with traceability of the material.
It’s thanks to this exemplary collaboration between each business partner that we’ve been able to establish a truly applied circular economy concept. Add to this the low space and energy requirements for the production of EPS microbeads (virgin and recycled), and you make a significant contribution to reducing greenhouse gases (GHGs).
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Insulation without demolition
What’s more, when possible, EPS microbeads can be injected into buildings to insulate them without demolition and with ZERO construction waste. Insulation does not contaminate materials in contact with it, and is easily recycled during dismantling. Using our blown-in insulation contributes to protecting the heritage and enhancing the energy value of existing buildings.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Eco-material insulation
Blown polystyrene insulation products are now recognized as eco-materials for their impact on sustainable development.
BUILDING APPLICATIONS
Injection options
Ecobill MD/® insulation is produced by injecting agglomerated polystyrene microbeads to fill air gaps of 1 inch (2.5 cm) minimum and 16 inches (40 cm) maximum. In addition to its high thermal value, Injected Microbead Insulation provides excellent control over air movement.
